Ashley discovered a love for food at a young age, cooking and baking with her grandmother. She graduated from a culinary arts program and moved to Chicago to work in its vibrant food scene while “eating her way around the city.” In recent years, she relocated to Toledo, first working as a chef in a groundbreaking restaurant and now serving as an executive chef at Pro Medica Toledo Hospital. She’s passionate about trying new—and unexpected—culinary techniques. “Flavors really come through when you cook with quality and in-season ingredients. It’s about highlighting food when it will taste its best.”
