“Growing up in Hawaii, you experience a cultural blend of Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Puerto Rican foods,” say Chef Arin A. Antonio. His early exposure to his mother’s Hawaiian cooking and his father’s Filipino specialties inspired him to become a chef. He’s won numerous American Culinary Federation medals, and he earned first place honors in Sodexo Hawaii’s culinary competitions in 2018 and 2019.
