Chef Sam Pfaffenbach has worked for Sodexo at Binghamton University for 9 years. As a chef, he has managed 4 of their dining facilities and competed in local and national competitions representing both Binghamton and Sodexo. He is the recipient of 3 American Culinary Federation bronze Metals and 1 silver metal from National Association of College and University Food Services competitions. He is also the 2010 and 2014 winner of the Best Taste of Broome award, a local competition in Binghamton. Sam is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
