Having a mom, grandmother and two older sisters who crowded him out of their busy kitchen, Chef Rensford Abrigo would peer in on the action, earning the childhood nickname “Kitchen Eyes.” He grew up on a farm in Guyana, South America, and experienced farm-to-table long before it grew into the movement it is today. With fresh fruits and vegetables readily available day and night, he says his love of food was always present. For inspiration today, Chef Rensford subscribes to every food publication imaginable and has a great circle of chef friends who talk weekly to share and challenge each other.
