Raised in culturally diverse Los Angeles, Sergio Diaz combines different cooking styles in his dishes and is proud to showcase his Mexican heritage when he cooks. He says he loves being part of two cooking families: at home, his mom and aunt taught him to put love and soul into food and at work, his coworkers are a second family, creating new dishes together and having fun while cooking. “I love every minute of it,” he says.
