A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Yolanda has been with Sodexo since 2004 in four states and Puerto Rico. “I love teaching and I keep learning every day,” she says. She’s intrigued by all aspects of being a chef, from purchasing and recipes to training and food safety. Her dishes feature local and simple ingredients, and she’s been inspired by her grandmothers who were great cooks and raised vegetables and chickens. “They were the true meaning of farm to table,” she says.
