Chef David Martín Dapena has been Head Chef at the Montespiño School in the historic Spanish port city of A Coruña for more than 5 years.
Chef Dapena started exploring flavors very early with two excellent cooks—his grandmothers Fermina and Maria—and translated his love for cooking into a career as a chef. Chef Dapena has worked as a chef for numerous restaurants, caterers, and hotels in Spain. He’s inspired by many well-known and innovative Spanish chefs and by traditional Spanish gastronomy, which celebrates quality produce and simple dishes.
