Kai Klaus Vianden – NORWAY Global Chef

Chef Kai Klaus Vianden has been an Executive Chef at DNB, Norway’s largest financial services group in Oslo for six years, where he loves developing new dishes and exploring cooking trends. Born in Germany, he launched his culinary career in restaurants throughout Berlin, even owning his own vegetarian restaurant and catering business. Chef Vianden has served in executive chef positions at four large hotels, where he gained a wealth of knowledge about strategic planning, food trends and sustainability.Chef Vianden speaks German, English and Norwegian fluently and says he enjoys new tasks and challenges, always focusing on “delivering the promise.” Filled with curiosity and creativity, he’s traveled extensively to exotic locales, including visits to Bombay, Phnom Penh, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong, to expand his culinary skills.
