Kristian Eriksson – SWEDEN Global Chef

Chef Kristian Eriksson was inspired to become a chef by his grandmother Mai, who “puts magic in the simplest things.” He follows her lead by using fresh, diverse flavors in his role as Executive Chef at AstraZeneca’s Restaurant Oazen in Södertälje, Sweden. Using seasonal and ever-changing ingredients, he says he’s always excited to discover what the earth will yield next.

After graduating from culinary school, Chef Eriksson served as sous chef and executive chef at many popular and historic hotels and restaurants in Stockholm, Sweden’s capital and the most populous city in the Nordic region. He says the best part of work each day is the vivid, flavorful dishes he and his Sodexo colleagues create and the opportunities to meet and interact with restaurant guests.
