Chef Leszek Rułka has an enviable role—Executive Chef at the National Stadium in Warsaw, where he’s responsible for high-end catering for events, concerts and sports matches, as well as guest services for the VIP and business club boxes. “Every day, my team and I insist that variety, unforgettable flavors and elegance are always on the tables and the menu at the stadium,” says Chef Rułka. He also oversees many other food services at the stadium, including 30 catering kiosks, a conference center, and an employee canteen. Chef Rułka joined Sodexo in 2000 and has served in various roles, from executive chef and cook to restaurant and product manager, for large multinational corporations like ING and Dell. He was honored to serve as a Head Chef for the 2013 United Nations Climate Change Conference, where he prepared meals for delegates and participants from more than 60 countries. He’s thrilled that he’s been able to turn his lifelong passion for cooking into a career and he regularly shares with knowledge in trainings and workshops for chefs and culinary students. Interested in food technology, gastronomic trends and recipe development since attending culinary school, he organizes a “Created by Sodexo” competition each year for corporate chefs across Poland.
