Chef Marcel Pohle began cooking alongside his mother and soon realized that he had found his professional calling very early in life. He trained as a chef for three years and joined Sodexo Catering and Services almost a decade ago. “I like to try new and modern flavor combinations,” says Chef Pohle, who adds that one of his hobbies is barbecuing! Currently, he’s an Executive Chef for an environmental research center in the historic city of Leipzig, voted the most livable city in Germany. He loves his kitchen crew and says cooking with great people is the best part of his day!
