Nian Guo Chen – CHINA Global Chef

Chef Nian Guo Chen was born in the Sichuan region of China, which is celebrated internationally for its bold and spicy ingredients and the unique flavors of its local dishes. For the past 25 years, he’s specialized in both Asian and Western cuisines. “I love to explore different foods and cultures and see guests enjoying my dishes,” he says. Chef Chen serves as Head Chef for three important schools, including the Western Academy of Beijing, the British School of Beijing and the Canadian International School of Beijing, where he oversees all food preparation and service. Prior to joining Sodexo, he served as a cook for the posh Minshan Hotel Chengdu, the XiLi Hotel Chengdu and the Changhong International Hotel Mianyang.
