¼ cup finely chopped red onions
1 1/8 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic cloves
½ teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon dry ground mustard
2 Tablespoons sherry wine vinegar
1 ½ Tablespoons maple syrup
1 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar
Potato Pancakes:
2 medium yellow onions
18 ounces frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
3/4 cup and 3 Tablespoons egg whites
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
