Southwest flavors abound: chipotle mayonnaise, pepper jack cheese and grilled onions served on grilled white bread

Yield: 4 Burgers

Ingredients:

4 hamburger patties
8 slices white bread
1½ cups yellow onion, sliced ¼ inch
8 slices pepper jack cheese

Chipotle Mayonnaise
4 teaspoons mayonnaise
½ teaspoon lime juice
½ teaspoon cilantro leaves, chopped
½ teaspoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced

Allergens:

Eggs, Gluten, Milk, Mustard, Soy, Wheat

Nutritional Information

Directions:

Place burger patty on grill. Cook until desired doneness, place raw onions on grill. Cook until tender and golden brown.
Chipotle Mayonnaise: Finely mince chipotle peppers. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until well blended.
Sandwich Build: Lay one slice of bread flat. Spread with 1 teaspoon Chipotle Mayonnaise. Place one slice of cheese on top of Chipotle Mayonnaise. Place one cooked burger patty on top of cheese. Top with grilled onions and second slice of cheese. Close sandwich with second slice of bread. Place sandwich on grill. Cook until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
