Nutritional InformationTo Prepare Nashville Hot Oil:
Whisk together all ingredients except the canola oil in a 1-cup nonreactive container, such as a mason jar or metal bowl. Heat the canola oil over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes until it reaches 200 degrees Fahrenheit with an instant-read thermometer. Remove the oil from the heat and add the spices. Stir to incorporate. Allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes at room temperature. If you plan to keep it for future use, cover it after the oil has cooled for 15 to 20 minutes and store it in the refrigerator.
To Assemble Nashville Hot Cauliflower Sub:
Prepare breaded frozen cauliflower according to the package instructions. When thoroughly cooked, remove from the oven or air fryer and toss with the Nashville hot oil in a medium bowl. Place the following ingredients in order on the heel of each hoagie:
– 1/2 cup arugula
– 1 cup Nashville hot cauliflower
– 2 tablespoons blue cheese crumbles
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing on top of the cauliflower. Close the sandwich and enjoy it immediately with 2 ounces of chipotle-dusted potato chips!
